Seattle Times Editor: 'Hitler Not Unreasonable'

What Hitler was demanding was not unreasonable. He wanted the German-speaking areas of Europe under German authority. He had just annexed Austria, which was German-speaking, without bloodshed. There were two more small pieces of Germanic territory: the free city of Danzig and the Sudetenland, a border area of what is now the Czech Republic.This was the response of President Bush's criticism of "appeasers". The Editor-in-question has revised, thought not refuted, his statement.
It is interesting though... if this guy is going to make the case that Hitler was reasonable, would he have to say, by extension, that President Bush is reasonable too?
